Libra is commonly known as the sign of intimate relationships, beauty and the law. In the Libra realm we engage with others one-on-one, and in so doing experience more of who we are through the eyes and heart of another. Our close relationships with others can be an enlightening reflection of the true nature of our oftentimes complex relationship to Self. Libran relationships are either intimate or legal partnerships. Either way, we have chosen to align with these people for some purpose, be it counseling, marriage, help with negotiating a contract or a business partnership.
If we have done the work of the previous sign, Virgo, the nature of which is to assimilate, integrate and practice discernment, success and harmony in relationships is likely. One of the functions of healthy Virgo is to integrate the otherwise projected, normally unconscious and disowned wild-card aspects of our personality that make each of us unique, so that when we interact with others we are coming from our wholeness and holiness that honors the nature of others.
Currently, Mercury is retrograde in Libra, so it is altogether possible that you are rethinking some of your relationships, contracts and maybe even your marriage. I don’t know about you, but I have been in a bit of a life review for the past few days. I am seeing all kinds of things that were never clear to me before. Insights are dawning like fireworks on the Fourth of July on all kinds of Libra fronts; I am looking at revamping the counseling/consulting practice that has been my Light In Motion business for the past seven years, relationships from the distant past have resurfaced for review and reconsideration, my new business partner and I are realizing we need to slow down and make sure we have all of the pieces of our business in place before we move forward, and I am seeing my relationship with my guy in a whole new light.
Life seems to be moving at warp-speed these days and time is precious. It is of great value to stop and check in with how our relationships to others are reflecting our relationship to who we are at this point in time. Balance and beauty are ideals that remind us of our divine nature, the Who We Really Are, the I AM which is, indeed, balanced and beautiful.
