Virgo is the sign of integration, of sorting through the bits and pieces of our lives and releasing those that don’t fit, don’t work or no longer serve any useful purpose. Saturn in Virgo has been beating the drum of the necessity of letting go of that which is not right for us. As we let go we bring our lives current, into the present, where we can be effective in our actions and interactions, once again. Too much stuff, too many possibilities, too many responsibilities that we can’t possibly fulfill, attempting to go in too many directions at the same time all drain our precious natural resources of time and energy and the attention that gives our life direction.
The Full Moon joining Saturn in Virgo prompts us to get grounded in our own lives. In any moment we can choose to turn off the fear-mongering news, step away from watching the erratic stock market for a while and realize that we didn’t get where we are, overnight and it is going to take time before we see the effects of what is happening now. In the mean time, this is a wonderful opportunity to come back into your own center. Focus on the things you can do something about: tend to your body, organize and fabulize your home–even little improvements make a big difference, clear the clutter from your messy office, plant flowers or buy a colorful plant for your home.
